Food store closed for faking product expiration dates
Officials of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce have discovered warehouses of some well-known company involved in manipulating validity dates of expired foodstuffs.
Workers at the warehouses used to erase the real dates and print fake ones over them.
This was discovered during a regular inspection raid on stores and warehouses of big food companies located on Street 2 in Industrial Area.
Inspectors were suspicious of the dates printed on some food commodities. After testing some samples in the Forensic Laboratory of the Ministry of Interior, results showed that the products were expired and dates printed on them were not authentic.
What do you think about this practice in Qatar?
The company should be sealed and closed becuase if you consume these expired stuffs it will casuse life fatal
@zai_qtr - you will come to realize it when see yourself spending more time in the toilet than outside.. Poooooping, pooping and pooping.
what a shame, who would have known that this is so frequent in Qatar!!! the ministry should have started all this earlier the inspections and stuff, and the very well known food outlets should have been announced not hidden just because some Shaikh owns it
how would we know if the date has been changed ?
