hi Shamir, last month I have been to Singapore.... personally I suggest you to go Malaysia instead of Singapore since Singapore is costly in compare to Malaysia.

First thing avoid taxi, as it is costly. Once you arrive in Singapore go ahead to train station and issue a card - it will cost you 10 Sing. Dollars, in which 5 dollars refundable whenever you return the card to them. travelling by train is very cheap and complete city is connected by train routes.

famous sightseeing are, sentosa island with various events (universal studio etc.), jurong bird park, night safari, underwater world, specially don't miss marina bay flower and rain forest domes - its really great, and there are several museums and water theme parks.
