NOC Issue & Ban to Qatar

I used to work ins sales for a very huge Real Estate Company in Qatar, and left in August 2014. Although I loved what I did, the department I worked in had a lot of major issues, which included not being paid commission - which was confirmed to me prior to acceptance of the employment. I left the company after more than a year of service, they paid me some of my commission but even to this date, I have not been paid of everything. In short, the company still owes me, and was told that they will pay once they come up with a new structure, I no longer expect though still hope sometimes - my company still owes me about QR 50k. Now, I had a job offer last month and came to find out that I cannot even enter Qatar as a tourist, because I stayed with the company for less than 2 years - this is according to the immigration - to be able to enter as a tourist, you won't need an NOC, if you stayed with previous sponsor for at least 2 years (this is fyi). And so I requested for an NOC. My shameless and heartless company said NO. Unbelieveable! They wouldn't pay, also they wouldn't let me seek for another job. My question is - if I change my passport, meaning if I renew, would that help in getting away from the ban? Would they be able to track my previous Qatar ID, with a new passport number? BTW, prior to this company, I actually had another sponsor who gave me the NOC to be able to transfer to them. Only serious and founded answers please.

First of all - TO HOLSINGER - the travel ban is usually automatic after your visa is canceled. If you finished at least 2 years with previous sponsor, you can come visit without having to obtain NOC. This is a fact - based on my recent experience when I was trying to come to visit and immigration itself requested for the NOC.

For Roses - my work visa and ID were cancelled before I left Qatar. I probably will accept the ban, if during my employment, I was paid on a regular basis as most real estate brokers and employees did, but this was not the case. In fact I had to resign, to be able to fight for my commissions - they paid me some of it, 2 months after my last working day (unbelievable, right?). They didn't put the term on the commission in my contract, but got confirmation by email when offer was made to me. When they paid me partially, they asked me to sign a documentation, stating the remainder will get paid when the new structure is approved, what is pending starts from my transactions in December 2013 - almost a year ago.

I just don't want to risk applying for a business visa, and getting rejected, coz that would put a bad record in my file, obviously if they figure out, they'd understand I renewed my passport to get away from the NOC - just thinking now how to strategize this, or maybe it is what it is and should just wait to finish the 2 years and come back again. I had a couple of great offers last month which I lost, because of this rude company.
