Ordering Machine From China

we are going to order some machines from a company in china, they are telling they do not accept payment through LC, they need T/T before delivering machines.. company has thier website and i got their contact through googling,

is it safe, paying them in advance by T/T

please advice

No, it is not. Since, you are the buyer you should insist on them accepting a L/C. Alternatively, go for another source. Also, a L/C also does not guarantee you that you will get the item ordered but if the company is a major supplier and has built a good reputation, then they will not carry out any unscrupulous activities. Having a Website means nothing in real business.
