Tenants of Ezdan
I am a tenant of Ezdan. The day before, the calling bell in my house caught fire and a part of this fell on the sofa, which caught fire as well. Since i had been at home, I put out the fire immediately. I was with my kids in the bedroom. When i heard repeated noises from the hall, I went to check it out.
Even though, their maintenance came and disconnected the particular line and painted the wall, i was very shocked when I heard that the calling bells were in fact of inferior quality. I was told that this has happened at few other Ezdan houses.
The worst part was that none from the Ezdan office had called to offer an apology.
Now I have a circular from them for renewing my lease agreement.
I would like to know if any of the tenants had similar electrical-fire related accidents i their house.
And, should I lodge a complaint with the Police and the Civil Defense.
Now I have a circular from Ezdan for renewing my lease agreement.
Please advise.

Its simple, stop using electrical calling bell, instead use battery operated calling bell comes with remote, all that you want is to alert your family when u reach home or someone to alert you if you are at home. Think about safety where children are there. Changing a house for this reason sounds joking.
Malavan,
You have to decide on what are your priorities, Instead of looking for others views? Fully furnished, Low rent, Free maintenance, Separate space etc. etc. plus warranty and guarantee, I do not think it will be possible anywhere in this world. You have to decide on a cut off where it has to be !! You better search for alternative options, somebody will run to occupy it.
It makes sense to start looking for something else. I wouldn't risk my kids life because of some poorly designed apartments, just because they are slightly cheaper than other places. Eventually, this what you get for cheap places.
