Baby Vaccination
Assalamu'alaikum
I have to get my 2 months old baby vaccinated. I have taken health card from PHC wakra but they are taking only 10 babies per day which is like first come first serve basis. There is no option to get appointment they say.
I would like to know if there is any other option to get the baby vaccinated. I checked in private clinics but some said they dont have stock and some are very expensive.
Anybody has any details please help me. We are already late by 6 days and I am tired of running to wakrah PHC everyday.
Many thanks
go to messaimer.. got my son vaccinated there coz in airport they have avail appointment on april..weeehh my son is already 4 months old that time and its suppose it for his second vaccine...
just be early there ( i arrived at 8pm but still got entertain and my son vaccinated) so that youll finish early..for me it takes two hours stay there,... but alhamdullillaah done....
Wakrah PHC do have a appointment system. But for the first time (2nd month) you need to attend as walk-in. There after they will give appointments. You need to be at the PHC atleast by 6am and make sure your wife stay in the ladies section queue. Also for the 2nd month vaccination they do only on perticular days (i think on Sunday) because of an ear test. My son got all the vaccinations (till 18 months) at Wakrah PHC. For your info, babies under 1yr old doesnt require a medical card, but muke sure you have the vaccination book/green card inhand whenever you visit hospital.
at measimeer PHC they have appointment system for Vaccination unit, why WAkra Dont Have, Same hospital 2 different procedures!.
Any way try to be there in time and be one among the 10, or visit mesaimeer as eyad said above,
I gave vaccination to my baby in Messaimer Health Centre .
you visit them and explain your issue .
you can find the location in the following site : Doha-guide.com
even if you are not register with them , I think they can give you exception .
good luck .
