Surprise! There's authentic fish and chips in Doha
Tucked away in Bin Omran, we had heard the rumours of a wonderful fish and chips place.
Hungry after a long week we decided to look it up on our way home.
The Chippy is located on the corner of Mohamed Bin Thani St and Ahmed Bin Ali st. You need to take the slip road and drive slowly or you'll miss it.
The small hole-in-wall restaurant doesn't have too much seating so lots of people seemed to get their food to take-away. According to their menu they also do deliveries
The menu has some British classics such as mushy peas and gravy to go with the fish and chips. We got a portion of Hamour fish and chips, an order of fish burgers and a soda.
Because we used our Entertainer vouchers, we only paid for one meal!
The place was empty when we got there but soon filled up.
We chuckled when 3 customers after us came in and used the mobile Entertainer vouchers when ordering.
The service was great and this is definitely a place we would consider visiting again.
