Is it possible to get an old report for car accident from Police?

I had an accident approximately one and half years ago. I renewed the Istimara in between. There is not mechanical damage other than just some painting issue.

It was my mistake.

Is it possible I can get the same report from the traffic police to fix it now with the insurance please?

Yes. I can tell them but I think it would be a lie as it did not happen recently..

WT is right, go to nearest place station in your place and ask for repair or paint report. tell them personal damaged or accident or unknown accident. immediately they will give or sometimes wait for one week to issue the report.

Make it a self-inflicted event and after one week you'll get the report.

You could also go to the police and claim that the paint came off just now without any reference to the previous accident.

From what I know, your old report may be difficult. Suggest, you go to the police station with your car where they will inspect it and then they may issue a report allowing you get the repairs done at any garage. I am not sure if your insurance company will repair the car, but I doubt it very much due to the time lapse.

The best way to find out would be to go to the police and ask them. They do speak English, too.
