Assalamualaikum... Im Muhammad. Got this job offer from a bank in Doha. total package QAR38k per month. I have to manage my house and schooling for my 2 kids on my own based on that amount. Do you think its sufficient?

Dear Sayed, thanks for your input. would 6k-8k sufficient for 3 bedded room, fully furnished? Am ok for 2 bedded.

Hassan: The estimates quoted are somewhat on the high side. You will easily find decent accommodation within 6K. Also, school fees would be around 3K for your 2 children if you choose a Pakistani school. Schooling for westerners are very costly as I hear. I would suggest you stay away from Pak Shama. Bright Future would be a better option.

I think there are many schools other than Pak shama, but a little/minor expensive. Its all up to your personal decision.

Thanks a lot for your prompt comment. But I've been looking for a descent school for my kids aged 11 years old. Its super expensive everywhere. The only affordable one for me is Pak Shama. Or can u please recommend one? Thanks

Walekum As Salam,

You can manage your house with rent between 6k to 8k QAR, and another 8k QAR for schooling.

I hope you can manage.
