My Family is coming to Qatar in the next month. I booked the ticket through the local agent in Qatar. How to check the visa message in Qatar Airways? Is there any procedure they need to undergo in India and what documents are required to be shown at Airport in India? Please advise
I checked with the Travel Agent, The information I got from them is that For Qatar Airways it is acceptable where as other Airlines, return ticket to be with in one month
Gentleman, I book the ticket my family(Visit only) Sri Lankan Airline,So before they arrive I have get clearance from Sri Lankan Travel agents for "OK TO BOARD"
Airport personnel are bothered about visa validity only, as the visit visa is only one month valid from the date of arrival, they ask within that period only. Even though it can be extended for 5 more months.
Better you book it within one months time, later once your family arrives here, either you can reschedule it or cancel it. Its upto you.
But to be on a safer side, hurdle free journey my suggestion is to book within a month's time.
If your family is coming alone, I mean without accompanying any males, it will be a harassment, I hope you know government officials....
Thanks for the replies. One query regarding the return ticket, I booked it after 2 months as I will extend for one more month(total 2 months stay) and travel agent did not object to it. Purchase is already made. will it be a problem?
Documents need are valid visa and passport with a minimum validity of six months.
If they are coming on visit visa they need to show the confirmed return ticket within a month's date.
If they are carrying the E-visa or photocopy of visa then you must make sure with the airlines that they display "OK TO BOARD" message in their system.

These 2 be handy
1)Visa copy / Rp copy of sponsor may be asked by immigration officials, and
2)a return ticket ( dummy will be caught by airline staff)
Thanks, but I already purchased the tickets. Its total 3 tickets. I think rescheduling twice will cost me dearly or Airlines will consider it

you need to go to the Qatar airways office with passport n visa copies. they will verify and update the status.
Do the Qatar airways directly send the message or we need to get involve? Travel agent is provided with passport and visa copies.

Else airlines will deny the boarding.
As far as I know, just passport and Valid visa copy would be fine.
Visa message can be sent through Qatar airways offices in Qatar.
