@sijuqatar123, how much it will cost just for someone to get a print out of my status at CEID in Rayyan? Please advise and need your assistance on this. Shukran.

The bank will not give any assurance of case withdrawal until you reach them with all new documents directly in person , they will not accept emails or power of attorney also for assurance.

For that you have to check first your case status by your QID in Rayyan CEID with some of your friends. You will get a print out with all details. If case is there then ask your friend to go to al saad court give that paper to check the bail amount for that case number. Then reopen (re open = mu aarada in arabic) the case by paying 10 QAR re open charge + bail amount and keep the receipt. You can ask your friend to send you copy of bail receipt. Keep it and Then fly to qatar and in the immigration it will show you are on bail so they cannot arrest you. Then go to bank and submit new documents and reschedule the loan and withdraw the case. This is the way.

@sijuqatar123, thanks again for sound advice since I'm now in the process of negotiating with a potential new employer in Qatar. I'm more than willing to resume paying my balance with the bank and have informed them of my intention. As soon I got a new contract and salary details then will send a copy of it to the bank and ask an assurance or clearance that there is no pending case against me once I arrived in Qatar. Is this alright? Appreciate for sharing your valuable experience to enlighten others.

Banks will not consider anything until you go directly. They can only withdraw the case if they charge already and reshedule the loan once you submit your new offer, visa status and salary transfer letter. It will works if you follow my last post. I know so many people did the same. we deal a lot also because we do services for CEID, Criminal & Civil cases.Read The penal code law, companies commercial procedure law, civil procedure law.

For users here, don't give any suggestion if you dont have confirmation or if you dont know the laws In qatar.

Qatar laws are horrible. Read the law book. A 7 years old boy can be sentenced for 15 years. You know for what if he touch a girl baby they will consider it as rape. Its there in penal code felonies & misdemeanors section.

So dont give any legal advice unless you know the law.

@Rolando ..If you wish to come back to qatar .. email your bank & tell them you will pay up remaining loan, ask for best discount ..

As the bank is desperate to get their money back, they are likely to offer you best discount ...& then you pay up..

Don't come to qatar without paying as then police is likely to catch you & then bank will demand money incl. all charges & inflate the amount ..You will be helpless in this case.

@coxtown, that's why the company was sued for illegal dismissal because I was still doing work whilst on leave but they became impatient on my condition even it was supported by medical certificate. don't assume based on your own understanding and keep your speculation to yourself.

@neq...... it means intentional cheaters, fraudsters, cunning, betrayers, looters, theives, well planned & master minded culprits and so on, there's another name in India - 420

@Rolando, No company can terminate a valid work contract

generally while an employee on leave abroad. In your case, you abandoned the job - " termination in absentia "

No worries. Ask your friends to check with your QID in CEID office ( Rayyan ) Thanfiz ul Ahkam. It will show your current full status. If you have any abscond case filed or not & If you have any cheque case or not, bail amount. You can get full status. If you cannot then arrange any legal advisor they will get a small amount and get your full status in print out with details. Thanks

@sijuqatar, appreciate your comments and suggestions. what happened to me is that my contract was terminated while on leave due to health issue.

@acchabaccha and @britexpat, you have no right to comment with prejudice especially if you didn't know the real issue. Your speculative comments showed the kind of people you are and made in bad taste. Dirty mind always come from dirty person. Shame on both of you!

Yes you can return back to qatar. Bank cannot blacklist you in immigration but they can charge a criminal case. They will charge it as cheating case by depositing your security cheque and if judgement is there it can be 3 months to 3 years. If Judgement is there they will arrest you from airport during entry to qatar and re open your case next day in court because of Judgement in your absence they will give you bail by paying 1000 riyal or something like that. In the meantime you can reschedule your loan in the bank by submitting new employment and salary details . Once it rescheduled they will withdraw the case and everything will be normal. If not then you have to face the prison period according the judgement. But after the completion of prison you can work any where. They will recover the loan from insurance by your completion document of prison period. Thats it. First of all understand bank is just a company they will file case only in court and they can do only by your cheques. They dont have any authority to blacklist you. You can check your status by your friends in any police station by your qatar id that you have any judgement or not. If yes ask them to cheque your bail amount and make ready . Fly and pay bail . Go out and fix in bank by reschedule and withdraw the case. But impprtant thing if you have run away case or abscond case filed by sponsor then dont think to come qatar you will fedup in jail. I have very good experience in your case

Morane: He did not "went away without paying." He quietly disappeared. Now that he has run out of money which he thought would last him forever, he wants to come back and possibly give "another try" in cheating someone or some organization and then flee. Bad habits die hard! If he repays the loan, it will be an attempt to clean the slate. Will he succeed in doing so? His name should already be in the Ali Baba's list as stated by coxtown if he took the loan from a bank.

Better stay away from returng back to Qatar. You are already in Ali Baba's list of cheating the bank, loan defaulter, mostly you may not get visa if they had black listed you. Let someone here check your status whether you are BL'ed or not and then try but do not do the same drama again if at all you come, BOL.

Try it, and let us know how it goes. Or just pay the loan off as you're supposed to.
