Al Khebra Driving School, The Worst - My personal review

I truly will never recommend this school to anybody.

Thankfully they provide you with theory classes from the next day of joining. But will wait till the learner's permit to expire (which is valid for 3 months) to start the practical classes. And again till the next renewal to give you a date for the tests. Apart from the regular fees they will make you pay atleast 500 QAR extra in the name of renewals. No matter you join for half or full course they will make you suffer for 8-10 months minimum and will make sure that they can squeeze the maximum money out of you.

And for whatever matter you go there, they will make sure you lost an hour or two of the day to finish your work. Poor service.

I really felt sorry for my decision to join there when my friends finished a full course and obtained the Driving License within 3 months time from another school in Bin Omran, Doha.

I wouldn't say that the instructors are bad,but the management is. One of the worst.

And don't get fooled by the poor marketing tricks like Lucky Draws. Even if you are lucky to get the Cars they offer by the draw, you won't be lucky enough to drive that for next 10 months due to snail paced services.

And if you still feel to join there, I will recommend you to go for the VIP course which cost you some extra bucks, but will only make you suffer less. Good Luck.

I strongly disagree. I had a fantastic experience with the staff at Alkhebra driving school, especially with the head of the VIP, Ms. Rahma. Rahma, kept in touch with me, answering all my questions and booking all my appointments. She is fabulous!

Alkhebra is my worst experience. It’s almost a year and I haven’t got my exam slot. I have been regularly going to the school. I had to renew my LLR 3 times and each time I have to pay 150 QAR. Have to renew again if I get my exam date. So much of discrimination in calling people for the exam dates.

Prices are too much fluctuating.

I paid 4800 QAR for full course and told 7-8k for VIP course. My friend paid only 6k for VIP in a matter of one month. I paid so much money and still awaiting my exam dates. It’s going to be one year. My friends who went to other driving schools got license in 1-2 months.

WORST EXPERIENCE. Everything is perfect only on the day of enrollment, when you pay to the school, then the reality starts. IMPOSSIBLE TO GET DRIVING CLASSES ,they always have the excuse of not having the availability. Took me 5 MONTHS TO COMPLETE MY DRIVING CLASSES since there was never availability. Scheduled for the road test 4 MONTHS AFTER COMPLETING THE CLASSES. Then on the day of the road test extremely rude police officer FAILED EVERYBODY IN THE CAR. Wanted to book the road test again, now I’m scheduled for October ( 7 MONTHS FROM TODAY! ) It’s already been 10 months since I started at the driving academy and it will be 19 MONTHS on the day of the road test since enrollment.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this school to anyone, very poor management, staff doesn’t care at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

The traffic department staff at Alkhebra are extremely rude.It was a shocking experience for me. I went for getting my direct test date from there. What happened was that I had to show my learners card for them to book it from the system. Now, my license card only expires in 2 months. After printing out my schedule, the woman just threw my learners license in the trash!!!! Customer service is pathetic . Beware when approaching the staff here!!!

One of the worst driving school in qatar, they are money minded , I think police people have to take an action to them . They are not even teaching properly. When I joined there instructor his name is Marcello not teaching me anything and asked money to drink and get a bottle . I was so frustrated being a girl. Then during exams they used settle papers by taking money from joiners or they have might have some friends. When i went to the management training manager was like u rejoin for half course again we will give you VIP treatment so irresponsible people. They built new school by bribe and making those VIP training sessions and all . I request all new comers please do not join this school.

All driving schools are like this., But personally I feel Al khebra is fine. They keep up the communication nicely. I have just completed theory test and i got my training schedule to start within 2 days.. Not road training is going on.. Until now, i have no issues. Letz c further.

Above stated details are 100% true.... The worst driving school in Qatar, because Al Khebra, the only driving school has this VIP course and it costs 5000 QAR. I joined al Khebra in december 2014 but unfortunately I failed in two road tests. Because I got my first road test date after a month completed my training. The second test after two months. And nowadays it is taking more than 5 to 6 months. Now I got test date on 8th December 2015 . You say, will I pass?..... After 6 months I will drive that also for test!!!!

I also tried to change from regular scheme to VIP, but they said it is not possible, but I can join another half course and that will coast 3500 with 20 days of training and two road tests.

only one option is left take file from them and go to any other driving school, and I did that. But had to pay the course fee and I got a road test date in Sept. Just a month..... amazing huh???

Dear I got my license in first attempt from Al Khebra in 2013. There were many in my batch who got in first attempt. Can't say about now. People recommend Khebra normally.

Dear QL

It’s the same for almost all Driving Schools in Qatar. I have a similar experience with Al Raya. I had heard that it’s one of the best schools but was disappointed.

One most Imp thing which I was told by Al Raya that if you fail the road test then the next test date would be atleast after 45 days as per the Traffic Dept. (They have this notice posted on the school walls)

I was lucky enough to pass in the first attempt but others who had their test scheduled the same day & didn't pass were given test dates after 2 months. (SCHOOL IS NOT AT ALL NEGOTIABLE WITH TEST DATES)

Its better either to take a VIP course or join some remote schools because they have lesser number of students
