Qatar embassy won't certify my university diploma
Hello all
I'm currently working for QR for the last 3 months. My spouse got all docs attested and certified in the US but the Qatari embassy in Los Angeles said that my school is not on their list and thus they did not certify it eventhough I got it attested with the state and department of state including the letter stating that I did not take any online classes.
would this affect in anyway from getting the family visas and RP? I already have my RP and all.
Please help
Hello, I have the same issue with my University degree from the US. How did you solve it? thanks
Ok thank you all. I do have my RP already and the company did it without needing my diploma certified. But I heard that I need it to bring my family over. I already have their birth cert, marriage and passport attested and certified at the qatari embassy. I guess it'll be alright.
thanks again
Ah yes. Thanks for the clarification. The RP does not need a diploma. The Work Visa does.
University diplomas and degrees are nor needed to get family visas and RP. You only need those if you are applying for a working visa. They will be under husband sponsorship for the wife and daughter sponsorship if a daughter.
I feel that the Ministry of Foreign Attestation office in Qatar will not attest the document if the Qatari Embassy in LA refused to give their stamp.
Your husband might still be able to get an RP without the diploma, but his company will have to apply his RP for a position that does not require a Diploma (e.g. Office Admin)
There is solution for everything .................... Good luck ................. Tue, 30.06.2015, 07.59 hrs
Bring all your documents in Qatar and have it stamped in Ministry of Foreign Attestation office.
