Two expats sentenced to jail for stealing a television

A criminal court has pronounced one year jail sentence to two Asians for stealing a television (TV) from a farmhouse located in the Sealine area.

The court has also ordered for both the culprits to be deported after serving the jail term.

The same court also fined QR3,000 to the third accused involved in the case, who helped the convicts to hide the stolen TV, which is estimated to be worth QR7,000, Al Sharq reported on Wednesday. [The Peninsula]
