Wanted:
A Grade 'A' contracting company in Qatar is recruiting an HSE Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Civil Infrastructure Construction Works to participate in Ashghal projects. Gulf Experience is a must. Experience in Sewerage/Drainage works, Roads, Water networks are a plus.
Responsibilities :
- To implement, comply, review, update and improve the Occupational Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems.
- To constantly enforce HSE awareness amongst the workforce.
- Represent the Company to the client on matters related to development and implementation of Health, safety, environment, such as progress meetings.
- Oversee Internal Audits and maintain evaluation of compliance and update of requirements related to Environment, Health and Safety.
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers performance and adherence to the Company's HSE Management system.
- Followup with the safety team on a daily basis
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skill.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science discipline.
- Over 5 years experience in the Health, Safety and Environment field as an HSE Engineer or in a similar position including "hands-on" experience in the Civil Infrastructure Construction field. Experience in Sewerage/Drainage works, Roads, Water networks are a plus.
- GCC Driving License
- Transfer of sponsorship is a must
