Moving soon to Qatar with Family

Dear All, Greetings. In three months, we will be moving to Qatar. We are family of four. My boys are 4 and 7. Just like most of the people, we are also looking for some good schools and good family compounds to live. I have found out that these are "THE SCHOOLs" in Qatar like DESS, Doha College, PARK HOUSE....which I am trying to communicate with them. If I have missed out any other good schools, do let me know please. Currently, my boys are in British school.

About Residential Compounds.....a unit with 3 & 4 bedrooms with some greens, pool, gym, tennis court and place for kids to play around. Please suggests some Compound names and websites for me to find about it.

Kindly suggests or remind me, if there are some other things that I should look out for before moving into Qatar.

Thanking you in advance and Have a good day.

Thanks for your quick reply. We have been in the region for more than 10 years and we do have an ok salary range that we can juggle with. We would like to spend about QR 12 to QR 14 thousand a month on housing, preferably with bills included. Pre requisite is it has to be a large compound with good facilities. My husband will work in the city financial district. Thanks in advance for your tips.

Totally agree with acchabaccha... everything depends on your nationality and Doha is the place where people can manage with QR 1000 and QR 100,000... So choice is yours

What is your nationality? What is your salary? Doha has places where the "white elephants" dwell with some of them looking at the rest of the city as a SLUM.
