New requirements for boat registration??

Have any boat owner come across this new hurdle to register their boat? I went to re-register our boat today and was told I needed a tracking device and a VHF radio for our small wakeboarding boat.

Yet another ridiculous requirement but regardless it is apparently the new rules... except that we were told there are none available for purchase in Doha currently as they have run out... SOO... that means all those needing to reregister their boat apparently cannot until stock comes in, and the waiting list is huge.

I was going to register my new boat soon. Can you message me on 55962348, i want to discuss something.

As per my discussion with one person yesterday in Halul boat any boat above 21ft shall fall under that requirement.
