Why some Nationality considered superior to Others?

According to the A Driving School IN Qatar, if you have a passport from GCC, UK, Ireland/Eire, Canada, South Korea, Australia, France, Denmark, Holland, Poland, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Greece, Sweden, New Zealand, Hungary, Norway, Bulgaria, Germany, Japan, Austria, Cyprus, Turkey, Switzerland, Singapore, Finland, Romania, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Ukraine, Lithuania or Croatia, you can obtain a Qatari licence without taking a driving test.

Isn't this Partiality and Violation of respect for Human beings and Equality of Nationalities.

Why some Nationality considered superior to Others? Isn't this prejudice.

Is this because the other nationality is poor. If so the reverse should be applicable because it is these poor who are exploited and has to pay for driving school and tests and trainings and wait in the queue for months to get a test date.

What is your opinion?

Everybody can't be equal in certain skills ................ but if you come from a colder region you will be able to cope better with the snowfall & frost bite ......... we expect the same from that person ..... based on the place he / she is born & brought up ........... so it's natural to have a view on the person's capacity , it's not prejudice ...... or any discrimination ....................

Because there are some countries not on the list, where your driving license is delivered to your house by a friendly cop, without you ever having driven a car in your life. How do I know? Well, I'm from one such country and have had said licence delivered, notwithstanding that I did know how to drive.

I agree with Zackm...... No Matter how strict the rule is for driving.... once they receive the licence they drive like idiots.... No mercy on other drivers.... Another thing, most of above listed countries.... there are proper rules and procedures to get the licence and not easy though, they learn not only driving... but driving behavior too...

Reality bites, life will never be fair in anything to anyone.

It will always depend on the color of your skin, the size of your pocket and the never ending hypocrisy.

You can be holding passport of these country, but if you don't have a valid driving license from them, you still need to take the test. I have two passports from these list of countries and I still took test and passed it. If you have confidence to drive you can pass the test easily. Btw did you see how the drivers that are from other than the countries mentioned on the list above. After they receive their drivers license, they drive like idiots, no signalling, drive in the middle of the lane, don't know how to over pass, drive extremely slow causing traffic jams (because thy all drive the same). Here in Qatar you really need to master defensive driving skills and most people who doesn't come from the above country don't know how to master defensive driving, causing accident and unnecessary traffic jams.

No driving test for your mentioned nationalities because driving license is given after clearing driving test in these countries and after following a certain procedure.

Unfortunately, driving training/testing in most third world countries does not happen and that is why they need training.
