Objective
Full responsibility for the management of stocks including efficient organization, receiving, issuing, returning and reporting.
Main Tasks
- Ensure materials are efficiently organized at all times and in a manner that minimizes the possibility of damage, loss or theft.
- Check received materials conform to order specifications in terms of quality and quantity. Produce non-conformity reports as necessary.
- Check outgoing materials are as per delivery orders.
- Ensure that all stock transactions (receipts, issues, returns) are documented in a timely manner.
- Identify and Report on slow moving or damaged stock in a timely manner.
- Identify and Report on stocks to be reordered in a timely manner.
- Provide up to date accurate physical stock availability information for sales enquiries
- Provide up to date accurate reports on stock situation to management as required.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.
- Other task as may be assigned from time to time.
Language Requirements:
Fluent English (Written and Oral), Hindi, Tamil (an advantage)
Technical Skills:
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, email applications
- Experience or ability and willingness to learn ERP
- Knowledge of building materials an advantage.
Education:
- Min. high school diploma
Other Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple high priority tasks.
- Ability to manage small team of people.
- Ability to learn about new processes and products quickly.
Work Experience:
- Min. 2 years in a similar role
- Experience in a building material trading company preferred
This position is only open to candidates already residing in Qatar who are able to transfer their sponsorship.
