Termination of Maid - NOC question

We took on the sponsorship of a maid from another sponsor in Qatar, two months ago; however, I have had to constantly direct her and pull her up on her house cleaning, and now, two months down the line, I have had enough, and want to terminate her employment. I believe I can do this, under the terms of her contract, via the clause 'gross habitual neglect by house service worker of her duties'.
I am not going to be so mean as to send her back to the Phillipines, and have no problem with her staying in Doha, and releasing her by providing an NOC. However, the HR department in my husbands work (an oil company that shall remain nameless) - who did all the paperwork for us re the maid - says we can't release her within a year. I cannot find anything re this in the contract, but as half of it is in arabic, who knows! I have searched online re this, and can't find anything to this effect.
So, could anyone please provide any clarification on this - can I terminate my maid and get an NOC issued, within 1 year of becoming the maid's sponsor.

It seems that a sponsorship change is only possible after the completion of one year.
