"THE APPLICATION IS DEFERRED"
I have applied family visa for my wife. After submit all the documents the system said “Application is Deferred” after they said they need my Diploma or Degree original copy and then they accepted. Now almost 4 days gone but system says “Application is Deferred”. Why is that???
Thank you all for your prompt reply. We went back after three days and was told that it has been updated on the system and need to wait for another two or three days. What are the chances that it will be accepted? Is it possible that they require further documents despite submitting the needed documents? Thank you.

This formula for everybody who is in the similar situation my pal ....... Give some time ........ it needs updating ............. don't worry .......
If you waited more than five days, don’t wait go again and ask the status sometimes they may missed/not entered the system. When you go there don’t forget your documents relating to this coz they can ask original documents to check again. Don’t wait Good Luck!
Hi, how long did you wait until the status changed after you have submitted the needed document? I have the same issue, application is deferred but went back to give the addtl docs but still status is the same. Was it approved eventually?
Once I already gone and they ask my education certificate again after that I have submitted that as well. Anyway better to go again. Thank you for your kind advices.

You application is on-hold/postponed.
You need to meet-up with them again to provide and/or clarify something and/or additional docs or information are still required from your side.

Lakmas....you have to go to office where you did submit your application
your documents needs some work to be done or clarificaion.
