If you are from the east, it is probably good salary. You will get to spend around QR 6000 for your apartment, QR 1500 for food, water, electricity and internet charges, QR 2000 for your child's school and say another 2000 for your transport. The rest could be in you pocket. However, all depends on your lifestyle also.
