Situation Vacant-Collection Officer

 

Our collection agency is one of the leading agencies in the Middle east with an enviable reputation for job satisfaction and career opportunities. A Collection Officer (Male/Female) for the same is urgently needed for Doha, Qatar.

 

RESPONSIBILITES

• To ensure debts collected within the shortest time possible.
• Manage monthly collection target set and follow up on past due via reminders and notices.
• Handling Inbound/Outbound calls with customers on invoice disputes and notices.
• Regular updation of debt collection action.
• Establishes and maintains computerized records for each client or account.
• Prepares reports and correspondence related to collections, status of accounts and payments records.
• Increase the recovery opportunities by persuading the defaulters and making them agree to negotiation / settlement agreements.
• Maintain adequate level of provision in the account by debarring its further downgrading and deterioration.

Desired Skills & Experience

DESIRABLE CRITERIA GCC banking experience. (Freshers with good communication and negotiation skills can also apply) A minimum of 2 years banking experience in collections, credit and structuring, credit administration, and trade finance. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Effective negotiator. Positive work attitude, hardworking and diligence. Ability to interact at all levels within and outside the organization. Graduate of Bachelor's degree in any field.
