I have one doubt here in Qatar i heard Driving licence cost would increase from the current price it gonna increase from Jan onwards. hi..i think no need to obtain temporary DL as you already have a valid one. My case, I left Qatar 5 year ago and recently back here from Oman.my Qatar DL was expired last year and I already have valid Omani DL. When I went to Traffic department to apply for temporary DL, they said as your Qatar DL is already expired we will issue a temporary DL for your expired Qatar DL till you get your QID. Later you can convert it to permanent once QID is ready.
I recommend you to go Traffic department and ask from the reception. There is no rush over there as there are lots of counters available. They are open till 7pm.
hi Bro, As far as the licence is valid you can use it to drive. Visa and Driving licence is seperate we need both valid as per govt rule applicable in all country ( make sense ?) but still wait for some other experts advice i may be wrong..
