I am a Chartered Accountant (ACA), presently working as an Accountant at Terna Qatar L.L.C. I started my career in August 2007 at SJMS Associates, (Chartered Accountants, Sri Lanka, an independent correspondent firm to Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu) as an Audit Associate and employed until March 2012, during my 4 years and 8 months service at SJMS Associates, I got promoted as an Audit Supervisor and worked as a supervisor for the IFRS implementation advisory team.  

SJMS Associate always been a wonderful platform for my talent, I was able to expand my knowledge and experience in the field of Accountancy, Auditing, Taxation, Internal Auditing, Investigations and Financial Management (Financial Analyses) in the various business sectors such as manufacturing, trading, auto mobiles, construction, real estate, hospitality & leisure, apparel manufacture, information technology and non-government organizations

In June 2012 I joined my present employer Terna Qatar L.LC as an Accountant; Terna Qatar L.LC is one of the construction companies in Qatar and is part of GEK Terna Group which has more than 40 years of experience in the field complex infrastructure and building construction. Being an accountant I have been able to support the finance team and the finance department with my knowledge and experience in various areas of the accounting process, furthermore, I have been able to expand my knowledge and experience in several areas.
