One of my neighbour damage my car while parking near their compound (only near not their compound wall) I lost around 600qr.What shall i can do.It was not damage with vehicle, purposefully by person ,Damaged one Tyre ,wiper blades and hanged waste on the handle of my car
I parked my car one such day behind GWC on D-ring road in front of a Villa. There was no any sign board for NO Parking. I did not cross a main entrance or a gate. It was a reasonable parking place though I had a slight doubt while I parking, may be this is a wrong place as the house wasn’t looks like an expatriate one.
On my way back after about an half an hour, I found one driver of that house just surrounding my car. I just talked to him nicely and managed to pronounce his country language which I know a little. During my speech I just asked, is it prohibited to park here? He said, yes we gave warning to the other car which was already parked behind mine. Next time He said, he’ll damage after the final warning to Her.
I was just relieved, and asked hope you did not do anything for my car as this is my first time to park here. He said NO.
So I did not check the car, and left. For my surprise, when I was just wiping the car next day, found some scratches possibly by a car key or a sharp metal item. There were around four to five scratch lines on the door.
I did not feel anything excited or curse to this driver, as I am sure He would have felt sorry for doing it to my car after the communication which I had with him on that day.
(The lesson for me in this is, not to park when there is a slight doubt. Take a little further and park, and make a nice walk to the place which I need to reach. Simple as that)
Btw: I feel sorry for the incident posted above. I hope eventually your mind itself can be given the correct solution, as this is what I believe in it.
We must go to the root, find out what forced him to do this to this poor soul - innocent car, He has some serious issue at his home place & he is in a bind , he has made a promise with somebody and now unable to fulfill his words ......... this is what made him to vent his frustration on this poor soul ..... ...... We need to be sympathetic with him in his difficult times .......... Your first step is to offer him the required help / support ....... 2ndly Forgive his without any conditions .... ............ Would you be able to give him a genuine smile when both of you would look at each other today or tomorrow ......... ? ...........Sun, 17.01.2016, 07.29 hrs...... ............
In this case, report the matter to the police. Go there with someone who speaks Arabic fluently. Guess you have a bad neighbour.
Go to the police

Suggest ask him politely and if he is a good neighbour, he will pay. I do not think going to the insurance company will get you much. This is because all car insurance carry a deduction when a claim is lodged. The amount varies from company to company. At the minimum they will deduct QR 300 but usually it is around QR 500. You will be left with hardly much in hand after going through all that hassle of getting a police report and then lodging a claim with the insurers.
