Rent will come down; salary will come down; jobs will be gone. left is what. does it make any difference.

Rent will only come down, when more and more expats leave. But based on QL posts, people still seems to be coming and also applying for their families to come live in Qatar. Do you really think rent will decrease any time soon. Maybe by next year...keep hoping!
