Hi Guys has anybody had experience whilst changing sponsors in Qatar (already in Qatar 5 years) of been requested to submit Police Clearance Certificate for UK National ??
I haven't been out of Qatar for 20 years. Last month they asked me to submit a police clearance from my home country. The third so far and it always says "no record". However, to change sponsorship you'll also need to have a Qatari CID clearance. And, nobody knows why.
Dear Feroz..Once the PCC is obtained from UK authority, is this to be submitted to CID to get a Qatari PCC? If the person is staying in Qatar for 5 years then why UK's PCC is needed? His crime history of Qatar in this 5-years would not be enough? I am also going through a similar situation!

You can also request the the British Embassy to issue the PCC for the UK
yes, need both UK and Qatar PCC, if you ask why I don't have an answer. its the procedure.

However, Police Clearance is required for all sponsorship transfers.
Yes, PCC is required.
UK Nationals can apply for PCC Clearance through online, I helped one friend in obtaining his PCC for this same purpose.
