Expired RP no penalty for 3 months?
Hello friends! I have a situation regarding my RP that about to expired tomorrow 8 May 2016 and my employer don't want to renew it anymore since i will be exit travel this coming 2 July,is it true that there will be no penalty for 3 months from the date of RP expiration? or there is a new law for this? Anyone please give me some advice,help for this,i thank you so much!

You need to have a valid RP in order to travel. now if you are going to be on exit only and not an NOC and change of sponsorship than yes there is a 3 months grace period.
As I understand, there is a grace period of three months from the date of expiry of RP and as such there should be no penalty. After the expiry of the grace period, there is a penalty of QR 10 per each extra day for the first three months.
