Hi i have a ptb scar non-reactive as per my last consulation. My husband who's working in doha wants to sponsor me in Qatar applying for a family visa.

Is there anyone here who has the same situation as mine? Is there a possiblity that I will be deported? I have a clear medical report here in Spain and Im a bit anxious about the health check in Qatar.

Thanks in advance to those who will help me.

Hi! i have a scar in my chest cause by stab wound and the tube that put inside my lungs to draw out the blood way back 2005, and since then everytime I get my xray result a scar always show in my left lung where the stab and operation was performed. I did my medical exam 6months ago and explained to the attending physician my case and I am negative to PPD test but today they want me back again at the Xray Section. I work for a cafeteria here in Qatar and I am scared to death that I might get deported for having a scar on my lung that would never go away anymore.

Mej, Get a 2nd opinion , take sharply focused medicine & then get the fresh report from a reputed clinic in your home place ........ It will work, wish your good health & joys ........ waiting to welcome all new QLers .........

Thanks @britexpat !! Im willing to do extra checks if necessary. Qatar medical by laws says that there is an excemption for lung scar medical report for applicants joining their families. Fingers crossed.. :)

Qatar takes an aggressive approach to such things ..

If the scar shows up in the X Ray , they may ask for extra checks

It would be beneficial to bring doctor's reports with you invade needed

Hopefully it will all work out
