Description

To provide advice, information and instruction on local Occupational hazard and safety (OHS) issues
To assist in the application of Occupational hazard and safety procedures
To monitor legal compliance with Occupational hazard and safety policy and procedures
Inspect the department to ensure the workplace meets the various safety requirements.
Ensure that monthly inspection of Fire Extinguishers, Exit Lights and Emergency Lighting, are carried out.
Respond to reports of unsafe conditions (e.g. electrical hazards, loose stair treads, etc.) by requesting repairs or maintenance
Follow up on any deficiencies noted during inspections, and ensure that they are corrected.
Ensure all staff receives the information with respect to Fire Safety,Chemical Safety, Biohazard Safety and First Aid Training.
To conduct, as necessary, the safety inspection of any Organization facility.
To perform daily walk-through for safety inspections of the facilities including fire/welfare systems. 
Ability to identify potential issues and revised current process to improve the operations.
Conducting periodical plant inspection and organizing Tool Box talk & Safety Training programs for smooth and accident
free working. 
Keep the Department Head informed on all of the above.
