Wife Resident Permit
My Wife is in qatar on visit visa. I tried to apply for residence Visa ( 2 times at 2 different locations) for her but they did not accept my documents as my occupation was surveyor in my qatar ID . My salary is above 10000, have house rent agrement, 6 months of bank statement, marriage certificate and engineering degree attested by Qatar Embassy with me. My company is saying they can't give engineering Visa as they did not have any engineer visa available. Did anyone face this problem and what can be solution for this ??

Best solution is change the profession.
Get Profession change application form and fill up with new profession along with company stamp and sponsor signature
1) Copy of Company computer Card and municipality certificate
2)Copy of Sponsor ID Card
3) Electricity bill
4) Your Education certificate Copy (Translated to arabic)
4) Bank Statement(6 months)
5) New three Labour Contract with new profession
6) Copy of Current Labour Contract
7) Your Passport and ID card copy
Go to labour department in the C Ring road near by American hospital, submit above papers. With the submission receipt and all of application forms, go to 3rd floor officer Mr Abdullah and get signed on the application form. (He will advise you if any changes is required on the application form)
After getting officer signature, Please go to the next building where new labour contracts are attesting, submit all of the papers along with the new contracts.
You will have to pay 50 or 60 QR for new labour contract attestation. After these steps you will have one attested new labour contract and the same previous submission receipt.
Now you wait for another 7 days , In the mean time get a new ID application form filled up and go to Garaffa immigration department building No 1, first floor , show your receipt , they will check and if your papers are arrived you will get one signed paper. With this paper, new ID card form and original passport submit in the ground floor where visa stamping on passport. Pay 300 QR then you will get visa stamped with new profession and ID card.
I discussed with my PRO today once again . He asked for 2 more documents to convert my profession to Engineer.
1. Police clearance
2. My previous work experience ( attestation required).
What's the procedure for getting police clearance and attesting previous work experience

Changing profession is not easy as u think. Pls check one of my friend told me that the salary should be above 12k QAR. I'm not sure.
Then ask your company to change the profession for you - only they can do that

Why are you doing the applying ?
Give the paperwork to your PRO and ask him to apply on the company's behalf ...
Engineer's only can bring their family here in Qatar? I doubt, profession as a surveyor may not be the reason I think. You may check your wife name in your passport and your name as a spouse name in her passport..both of your address also should be same in passport sometimes..
Tell your company to change the profession in your visa.
Try to take your pro.. it Might help
