Summer Calligraphy for 8 – 14 year olds at MIA
Enroll your kids in an artistic endeavor with Museum of Islamic Arts’ summer calligraphy workshop. Ideal for beginners, learners will be taught the Ruq’ah script in four sessions. The program runs on August 14, 15, 17, and 18, from 10 AM to 12 PM. The same workshop will be conducted for children 15 – 18 years old on these dates: August 21, 22, 24, 25, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Week at MIA, for 5 – 7 year olds
Museum of Islamic Art will host a week-long workshop based on four sessions. Children will be taught how to make stylized drawings and create flowers in Iznik art. They will also be taught the history of falconry.The dates for this workshop are August 14, 15, 17, 18, from 10:00am - 11:30am.
The same workshop will be conducted for children 8 – 11 years old on these dates: August 21, 22, 24, 25, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.
Summer Camp at Compass International School, Madinat Khalifa
Legacy Sports and Events is holding a summer camp at Compass International School in Madinat Khalifa for children aged four to thirteen years. You can enroll your children for as long as you like, it is not compulsory to attend the full length of camp. The activities include sports, swimming and arts and crafts classes with variation in the schedule rotation.
Yoga Warriors Summer Camp
If you want to introduce your kids to an innovative and healthy lifestyle, register for the yoga workshops at Yama Yoga Studios at Garvey’s on Salwa Road. They accept children from six to thirteen years of age, with discount for siblings.
