Qhapac Nan Peru at Katara

Time: 10:00 am - 10:00 pm, on July 19 07:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Katara presents the Inca Empire’s history in collaboration with the Embassy of Peru through a photographic journey of the Qhapac Nan, the road that unified the empire.
The magnificent history will be showcased in celebration of Qhapac Ñan being added to the World Heritage List by UNESCO, during the 38th Session of the World Heritage Committee held in Doha in June 2014.
Souq Waqif Art Center Workshops
Date: July 24
The registration for Souq Waqif Art Center are ongoing. The workshops include figurative sculpture, Sunbuli calligraphy, pottery smoked incense, drawing with pencil.
Traditional pearl diving course
July 18 - July 20
The Ministry of Culture and Sports center, ‘Nomas’ is holding the second pearl diving course in the open sea. This course if open for children of 8 – 14 years who are already capable of swimming and diving.
World 9-Ball Championship 2016
July 24 – August 5
Venue: Alarabi Sports Club
The Qatar Billiards & Snooker Federation has organized the World 9-Ball Championship 2016. The first three days of the competitions will determine the 12 seats to be qualified from 128 players, and 116 players to be selected by the International Billiards Federation based on their world ranking.

IAID Summer Workshop
With the successful conduction of the first cycle of these workshops that started on July 2 and will culminate on July 18, the second cycle will commence on July 20 till August 2. The skills based workshop will focus on teaching children of four years and above the dynamics of leadership through arts. “Leadership Workshop Expressed through Arts”for Kids and Teens will be supervised by qualified professionals hosting invigorating courses such as Princess in Tutu, Swing`n Sway, Kidz Gotta Dance, Desi Mania, Wind Melodies, Keys and Harmonies, Paint like the Masters, Shadow Puppetry, and Little Big Voices. The third cycle will begin on August 4 and run until August 17.
