Australian embassy to be shifted to 'permanent location’ soon

The Embassy of Australia in Qatar, which is operating out of a temporary office at present, is preparing to move to a permanent location inside the Tornado Tower 'within months', Qatar Tribune reported.

A spokesperson from the Embassy said the mission's office space is under preparation, and the Ambassador-designate, Dr Axel Wabenhorst, will present his credentials soon.

"The Australian Embassy is operating from a temporary premises in Doha while our permanent office space is under construction," the spokesperson said.
