Dear Sir,

Indian embassy require both to be have Qatar resident visa but try to meet the ambassador Mr Sanjiv Arora. He comes in public consular section now and then to check the problems of Indians.

He is open person, you can meet him on 15th Aug after hoisting the flag, as he interacts with citizens on this day also.

Or meet the officials on embassy open house session.

Regards,

Embassies have the legal right to perform marriages. That's all.

AmAm: Why does it concern you who is in no way related to the husband or the wife when they should get married? Who are YOU and your close buddy at QL to advise them on their personal matters? Why don't the two of you mind your own business? The person was just seeking help in getting a court marriage done, that's all. But one at QL who "specializes" in giving unwanted silly advice to everyone, asked the husband to wait till the festival of lights. Why?

MM: You're back to your old tricks .. Using alternate ids and 'reporting' those you have a beef against .. What purpose does it serve ?

Best is consult with your embassy.

If you wait for the "festival of lights" the happiness you are now expecting from your quick marriage may get dimmed by then.

Navjot, I fully understand your situation ..............

.

Do not make rush for this ceremony of love .............

.

I would say you delay it till the festival of lights ........

The best option would be to contact the Indian Embassy and request the process and procedure ..

You could also get in touch with your local church in Qatar and seek their advice
