Mosque Minaret may Eventually Collapse

There is a mosque located on the road just opposite Fathima Shopping Complex which connects to Shahar Tejari in Muaither. I guess the number is 833.This morning I noticed the wall facing the road of the Minaret showing signs of cracking possibly due to the load of the Minaret. What caught my attention was the act of some "wise" person who had placed a wooden plank over the crack and nailed it well hoping it would halt the crack from progressing further!

Possibly, someone from the authorities could look into this.
