Four bombs hit Qatar Red Crescent Society’s Aleppo health centre, two dead
A primary health centre managed by the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) in the Al Sakhoor area of Aleppo, Syria, was hit by airstrikes on Saturday, according to media reports.
News from the site said that at least two patients were killed and eight others injured after four bombs were dropped on the centre from a helicopter. Almost half of the facility was destroyed in the bombing.
The attack has deprived thousands of civilians from surrounding areas of much-needed medical assistance, a statement said.
QRCS condemned the attacks on the facility. The organisation called upon the international community to intervene and put an end to attacks on medical and health facilities in Syria.
