For the love of food: A new group for foodies in Qatar

Hello Qatar Foodies, this is Muhammad, also known as moawesomesauce on Instagram & Twitter. A big fan of food and quite recently an aficionado of cooking on my own and experimenting with dishes.

I take after my wife who used to watch a lot of MasterChef episodes and got me hooked on to it, naturally getting me thinking about cooking and experimenting with recipes, which led me to the likes of Tastemade and Buzzfeed Tasty – my 2 main sources of inspiration.

The latest experiments that I did are the Cheesy Chicken Pasta Bake and the Eggplant Parmegiano – recipes for each of them to follow soon - much like what you would see here ;)

Which brings me to why this group comes into existence – cooking & sharing home-made recipes. I will occasionally share recipes that I have tried in my own kitchen, some of which may be inspired from what I see online while others would be spur-of-the-moment dishes that are based on what I have in my kitchen.

As a member of this group, we would encourage you to share your home-cooked recipes (along with yummy photos) or recipes that have inspired you to cook something exciting and talk about where to find some of the best ingredients in Doha or those that are in season.

Potlucks are in the works as well, so if you're up for hosting one or wanna join one, do share it here.
