Get prepared to pay year’s highest petrol prices in December
Qatar’s motorists will have to shell out more money for filling up their cars in December.
The Ministry of Energy and Industry announced that the 91-octane Premium gasoline will cost QR1.45/ltr (an increase of 10 dirhams from the previous month) while the 95-octane Super petrol will cost QR1.50/ltr (five dirhams more than in November).
However, the price of diesel remains stable at QR1.40 per litre.
This is the highest price motorists in Qatar have had to pay since the country decided on May 1 to fluctuate fuel prices to reflect changes in the global market.
After falling in September and October, prices for both Premium and Super petrol had increased by 10 dirhams per litre in November.
Each month, a special committee, comprising representatives from various government bodies, reviews global fuel prices and recommends proposed prices for the local market accordingly.
I'm just here reading comments and I'm entertained :)
