Qatari police officials arrest eight people for pickpocketing
Crimes related to theft have been on the rise in Qatar in recent times. Police officers in the country have been very vigilant and they have made a string of arrests lately.
Just the other day, the country’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) apprehended eight criminals for picking people’s pockets in crowded areas, reported Qatar News Agency.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) formed a special security team to nab the culprits after CID received complaints of repeated cases of personal valuables being stolen by pickpockets.
Following a careful investigation process, several suspects were apprehended and valuable items recovered from them, reported Qatar Tribune.
Meanwhile, the MoI has called upon the public to be cautious about their valuable items especially in crowded areas like markets and public transport stations, reported Gulf Times.
Recently, many money exchange houses in Doha had advised their clients to be extra cautious while visiting their premises in order to avoid falling prey to pick-pockets in the vicinity. A few days earlier, several people had complained about incidents of spitting and robbing being on the rise.
It's sad that our people don't value the spirit of working hard. A shortcut to life is a WRONGCUT. Work hard good people.

It is a BIG mistake on the lazy people who can not be awake enough to watch their pockets. ............
Look like they all from rich family why they involve in pick pocket ? Instead they could stay in their home country and looking after their family business.
