Watching Out for Pickpockets

Watching Out for Pickpockets

Wherever you are in the world, it's always good to look after your belongings. Although Doha is not a pickpocket's destination, a recent surge in pickpocketing crimes in Qatar is a reminder to practice situational awareness and be vigilant, even in one of the safest countries in the world.

Do you have a story to share?

Shahid bro, We need to protect the image of the innocent souls. That's why I often support the innocence. Joys to you for your true understanding ...... ...... ......

Mariam, I do not believe in that. It may be by mistake somebody put his hand into your pocket thinking it's his own, this may happen in a crowed area. This is a case of poor judgement not theft, not at all pick pocket. ........... ........ ........

I have experienced. But not in Qatar.

1) At the counter when I was about to pay my breakfast bill, suddenly 5 to 6 peoples around me and they create the scene like they are in hurry to pay their bill than you even in front of the counter. One of them try to search something in my pocket and I realized and hold his hand.

2) At bus journey, When my stop came, I get out of the seat and rushing to the door , suddenly I realized three - four people too rush behind you. They create a scene like they are in more hurry than you. In that situation one fellow tried to put his finger in my pant pocket and tried to pick the money, I realized I turned back, he escaped. Sorry they escaped.
