Can I return to Qatar on Visit visa for job hunt

Hello,

I left Qatar in Aug'2016, and my current sponsor didn't cancel my RP, the reason is if he gets any new requirement, he will invite me back so that I can return to Qatar, but nothing happen.

My RP expired on April 2017; Now I'm planning to return to Qatar on Visit Visa to search for new job. My question is, Can I return to Qatar on Visit Visa? IF not then why and how can I return to Qatar now?
