A magical night at the InterContinental Doha's Shahrazad Tent
This Ramadan, be sure to take part in the wonderful experience of a meal at InterContinental Doha hotel’s iftar at Coral Restaurant, and suhoor in the sumptuous Shahrazad Tent.
The striking Shahrazad Tent is inspired by the magical settings of One Thousand and One Nights, with an opulent white-and-gold theme paired with Arabesque furniture and accessories to truly transport you into a fairytale-like setting. The tent is fittingly named after the iconic Princess Shahrazad, the storyteller of the famous 1,001 Arabian tales.
Both iftar and suhoor are lavish buffets with a wide selection of Arabic and International foods, and shisha may be ordered to the table during suhoor. Traditional live Arabic music completes the atmosphere of this beautiful event.
Seating is spacious and the atmosphere is suitable for both families and groups of friends. We truly appreciated how easy it was to navigate the buffet, without the usual congested feeling that tends to override the pleasures of some of these events.
The dishes at the buffet, though seemingly complex in design, are actually quite simple and easy to eat, which is perfect for a suhoor meal. We especially loved the selection of fatayer and the freshly made manakish at suhoor, which are made fresh and on the spot.
The lavish Arabic and International suhoor buffet features cold and hot mezze, sushi and sashimi, as well as piping hot signature items at different live stations. These include freshly made Saj, Ouzi and Shawarma; not to mention a diverse selection of irresistible sweets from decadent cakes and baklavas to the must-have Oum Ali.
A wide range of cold appetisers and salad, succulent grilled items and roasts at the carving station, as well as mouthwatering sweets such as cheese kunafa are also on offer.

Iftar at Coral Restaurant begins at sunset, with QR 225 charged for adults and QR 115 for children between 6 to 12 years of age. Suhoor at Shahrazad Tent begins at 9pm at QR 195 per adult and QR 95 per child, while children 5 years old and below eat free.
