Vodafone Qatar announce compensation plan for affected customers
Vodafone Qatar has announced a compensation plan for customers who have been affected by the recent service outage that lasted for more than 18 hours on Monday.
The service has been partially restored since and Vodafone Qatar has reiterated through a statement that services will be fully restored as soon as possible with the aid of global network experts who arrived in Qatar this morning.
Vodafone Qatar issued the statement with details of the compensation plan following an inquiry into the outage by the Communications Regulations Authority (CRA).
"As part of the compensation, all balances that expired last night will be returned to customers in full with a new expiry date of 28 July 2017. Moreover, balances scheduled to expire in the next 10 days will have their expiry date extended so they remain valid until 28 July 2017," according to the Vodafone statement.
Vodafone Qatar also said that it will be deploying a full communication and compensation plan and intend on keeping customers updated on an hourly basis via their social media channels.

We have to be compensated, No bank transactions were possible.Office mails and social media.No GPS searches. This is what we all use on a daily basis and what Vodafone experience has done is to take us 15 years back in time. I would say life got stuck and we need to be compensated for the grief.

what is this we can call only to vodafone? what about internet ? please tell us when you can resolve this issue. what is doing your network expert since morning?
no need anything provide the network properly that's enough
There is no need of such compensation. The actual need is to restore the communication, that has been missing for more than 24 hours now, with no signs of restoration. Vodafone communication on what is happening, too is weak, that should be upgraded, and where is the contingency plan of Vodafone, why cannot it switch over the connectivity to Oredoo till Vodafone connectivity is restored, so that the customers should not suffer any longer.
