Looking for a Senior Accounting position, preferably in receivable accounts which suits my background and experience.  Kindly note that I hold a valid resident permit. I am a Master Degree holder in Accounts and familiar with ERP (Oracle-JD Edwards). I am having 14 years experience in Qatar of which 11 years with a heavy lifting and engineering company as Receivable Accountant.

Chief responsibilties include:

-     Invoicing to customers.

-     Finalization of Project Account of customers

-     Accounting for receipts from customers - cash, bank transfer, LC, guarantee.

-     Credit control

-     Follow up with customers for timely collection of account receivables.

-     Generation of various management reports - weekly, monthly, and quarterly.

-     Bank reconciliation

-     Monthly closing for AR.

-     Providing necessary data for completion of statutory audit.

In addition to the above,  I worked as Manager with a Qatar based Furniture Showroom during the period June 2002 – May 2005.

 Chief Responsibilities included:

 Buying furniture from international market and selling in Qatar. Managing sales, delivery, in addition to routine accounting and administration functions for running the showroom and a chain of beauty spa.
