Gratuity -Classification

Hi Guys , I am facing a new situation with regards to Gratuity. Normally if an employee resigns or if the employer terminates you, the gratuity amount calculted would be :
Gratuity =Basic Salary / 30 (the number of days in a month) x 21 days (three weeks) = Gratuity/year
In addition the above, is there a criteria as per qatar law stated below :
- If you are working in a company less than 3 years and employee resigns, then gratuity will be only calculated for 7 days and not 21 days . Is this as per the law?

To my knowledge, it should be 21 days and not 7 days. You can get this confirmed by visiting National Human Rights Committee office. They have booklets available free of charge on worker's rights in Qatar.
