Revitalize your skin at Eforea Spa
With the weather being as dusty as it is with the season’s turn, wanting to give your skin a break is not an unreasonable feeling to have. And if you’re really in the mood to treat yourself to a facial, heading over to the Hilton Doha’s Eforea Spa is an excellent idea.
The spa is located on the ground floor of the hotel, near the gym and swimming pool that overlook the hotel’s expansive palm-lined beach area in West Bay.
The staff are welcoming and professional, and the ambience is luxurious without being overwhelming. Eforea provides a range of options for facials that cleanse and hydrate.
I picked the basic, hydrating facial that cleans and then soothes the skin with hydrating argan oil based products.
Eforea Spa uses exclusive products made in France by Charme d’Orient. Working with artisans of various countries to collect authentic raw materials of which many are extracted from the source, Charme D’Orient draws inspiration from the vast and multiple traditional methods of the East to create a serious of ritualistic treatments and highly effective natural products
The Charme d’Orient products used in my facial included a face scrub with argan shell, and moisturizing face cream with argan oil.
Most people that know a thing or two about skincare have heard of the benefits of argan oil and its use for skin and hair treatments. A research article published in 2010 found that argan oil contains higher levels than other oils of γ-Tocopherol, which contains strong anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties.
The treatment did not disappoint. I usually come away from facials feeling that my skin is hyper-sensitive after being poked and prodded during the cleansing process, but I had none of that feeling as the hydrating process calmed my skin and my pores felt clear and tight afterwards. Definitely recommend this treatment if you have sensitive skin.
