Anglican Center in Qatar

The Anglican Centre is the spiritual home for many Christian congregations and groups who worship and fellowship there. This Ecumenical tradition of hospitality is well established in the Anglican Church in the Gulf where many Christian groups do not have their own dedicated buildings. The Anglican Centre currently accommodates 80+ Evangelical, Pentecostal and Protestant congregations!

The Chapel is situated in the south courtyard and will be used primarily for quiet area for private prayer and meditation. It will also serve as a venue for weddings and memorial services. The multi-purpose design of the Centre easily facilitates classrooms, meeting rooms and many variously-sized assembly halls available for Church Groups, Youth Groups, Sunday Schools, Prayer Groups and Christian activities, plus some limited administrative and storage functions. A courtyard area to the north side of the main Sanctuary features a cross-shaped baptistery modeled on ancient churches of the early church, and baptisms are administered by different congregations almost weekly.
