Saudi Arabia scores first win of World Cup with late 2-1 triumph over Egypt

Saudi Arabia ended their 2018 World Cup on a high after beating Egypt 2-1 with a last-gasp goal in an entertaining match in Volgograd.

Salem Al Dawsari scored the winner deep into extra time. Earlier, 45-year-old Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El Hadary had become the oldest player in World Cup history.

He saved the first of two controversial penalties after Mohamed Salah opened the scoring, with Salman Al Faraj equalising from the second spot-kick, before Al Dawsari had the final say.
